As the section "Site
Updates" will be removed in the new website (due to the lack of updates
since 2005), the posts will be archived here as sort of a remembrance.
The
archiving starts from the latest post and is separated in different
forum posts by the years posted (2004 and 2003 are divided into 2 parts
due to the large number of posts).

I guess today marks a special entry for the Pure Rock site. We have
reached 100k on the counter! By the time I remembered to visit the site,
the counter had already jumped to 100003. And since Midnight Son claims
the 100kth Pure Rocker spot, CONGRATS TO YOU! Oh and remind us to have a
prize or some sort set for the 200kth visitor okay?

2005
4th September 2005, Sunday | Posted by olibia Well
yesterday was quite eventful really; us few eastsiders from Pure Rock
took a trip to the west! And then there were the bus trips, the crazy
(dry) bus humour, the let's be amatuerish and take a picture with our
handphones beside the professional photographers and their very
expensive looking cameras, the fretting over whether to have a Very Long
Name published on site, and the cat with claws in the train. Okay
seriously... IT WAS DEW AKA PUSSYCAT'S WEDDING! HOW EXCITING IS THAT!
Side note, remember to ask if they had jaw aches from all that smiling
for pictures. CONGRATS AGAIN DEW!! AND EADDY!!
22nd August 2005, Monday | Posted by olibia Sorry
for having ignored this section for so long, but HELLO AGAIN. We are
back with a madness a certain greatness has bestowed upon us on the
evening of 16th August '05 and even if no one reads this, we will roll
in madness OURSELVES. Pure Rock finally has something (remotely) related
to Singapore that we can be really proud about - Slipknot being allowed
onto our soil! Go puke all over yourselves and enjoy the visuals and
literature!
3rd April 2005, Sunday | Posted by scuzzybum Yes...
Pure Rock closing down was an April Fool prank. Would have reverted the
site back sooner but I was just plain lazy. So sue me? Like I would
give half a fart to anyone that diss us. To the rest of the people,
thanks for the support!

vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit (took this
from the online dictionary . Midnight SoN has also joined us and has contributed an Editorial. 22nd August 2004, Sunday | Posted by scuzzybumWe sincerely thank Am3thyst for providing 100mb of webspace to Pure Rock. Thanks dude! 21st August 2004, Saturday | Posted by scuzzybumSyntax

back! Added another band to the "Bands" section. The information of the
bands listed is to the best of my knowledge and so if there are any
mistakes, please don't hesitate to tell me about it. The long story
about the bands is directly lifted from their respective sites Will go on to clean up some html codings before I add more shit. 22nd April 2003, Tuesday | Posted by scuzzybumMy
free hosting seems to be always down for some reason. Sorry for the
inconveniences! I have at last added one band to the "Bands" section.
Check it out Won't be able to work on the site till after my exams this friday. Wish me luck! 20th April 2003, Sunday | Posted by scuzzybumTried
to resolve some bugs that visitors had when viewing the site. Please
specify the problem at the tagboard if anymore is encountered. Thanks!
Need local bands information (lineup, pictures, misc.) to add to the
"Bands" section and would appreciate it if someone would send me some. 19th April 2003, Saturday | Posted by scuzzybumMade the "About Us" section so head there and check out why we exist and find out who is involved
Gonna find some information about local bands to add to the "Bands"
section soon. Anyway, we are gonna start a section for featured band of
the month (if we get any response!) so if you are interested, mail us.
Hope to hear from you soon! #purerock @ Galaxynet is registered so you
guys can go there to chat. 18th April 2003, Friday | Posted by scuzzybumToday,
I added a real counter. Cheers for me! The website is also made
scrollable. The navigation links work too but they don't lead to
anywhere yet except for "Home". Next, I will be working on either the
"About Us" or "Bands" section for the site. 16th April 2003, Wednesday | Posted by scuzzybumJust completed the "Latest Updates" section for the main page. Progress slow as running out of ideas
Please tag your comments/ideas to help me get more ideas coming.
Thanks! Will be updating this section as I add more crap. By the way,
the above links don't work yet. Err... basically, nothing works yet
except for the tagboard. I will inform you guys when I make them work.
PEACE!
