PuSSyCaT Posted: Jan 26 2004, 11:43 AM If
there were to be some sort of TV docu-show (on CH5 or whatever),
covering the local scene in Singapore, what fields would you like to be
covered?
For example: Local bands
And what exactly you want to be highlighted?

SupernotPosted: Jan 26 2004, 02:28 PM Hmm, I guess I would like to cover the upcoming metal bands. And ask them what are their goals in the local metal scene.

Rik Posted: Jan 27 2004, 09:52 AM Interview bands.
Let the show cover some gigs... show gig footages... tell Singapore that they have a music scene right under their noses!

CavettPosted: Jan 28 2004, 08:26 PM One word... Money... Producing
local shows needs money and if we dont have a "sugardaddy" who can push
our local scene then we can just forget abt it and concentrate on what
we have been doing.. Anyway its their lost...

Which reminds me of the time CNA did that thing on Skinheads? Hahaha...that was funny ..
Oh
ok, in relation to the topic. I know most localbands just want more
exposure because the masses are made up of the ignorant and the
musically challenged, but there seems to be a taboo when it comes to
media: Commercialism

olibia Posted: Feb 17 2004, 06:52 PM it's entirely up to the bands/artists/performers to define the term commercialisation...
