The Last Transmission formed in 2001 as an alternative rock band. Releasing a self-tiled EP in 2003, the band refined their sound and revamped their line up before releasing their second album, Neon Nothingness in 2005. The album received critical acclaim from various sources includin Planet MG, and the band gigged in Singapore and Australia to support its release before taking a break in 2006.
Last Transmission are currently working on a number of singles and new material. The current band lineup which incidentally includes half of local black metal favourites meza virs are, zarina bahtiar on vocals, cedric chew and john solomon on guitars,sidney koh on bass, tjinn on drums and ying yi on keyboards.
